Swami Shankarananda MA, BA, Keynote Speaker, has taught self-inquiry and techniques of emotional intelligence for more than 30 years. A master of an ancient path of yoga, Swamiji has combined the wisdom tradition of the East and applied psychology of the West into a dynamic, accessible method of creating and maintaining emotional health. He has given presentations and conducted seminars to a wide range of organizations, such as the Harvard Medical School, the Victoria Police and the Fire Brigade. He has been a guest on Australian and American radio and television and is the author of articles and books, including Happy for No Good Reason and Consciousness Is Everything.
He says, ‘Upward Shift is particularly effective in discovering appropriate actions and communications to unblock stuck areas in life. As extremely sensitive reactive organisms, we respond to every thought and feeling in our life. The goal is to free the flow of energy within and live life with ease and openness’.
